Building off of the specialized techniques learned in Creative Work Group, Test Drive is a paid opportunity to create simply for the sake of creation. If you are looking for a dedicated and warm creative environment to develop in your craft, Test Drive is for you.

To participate, artists will have to submit a description of a short* artistic piece that practices at least one skill learned in our sister program Creative Work Group. Selected artists will have five hours in MCA’s Lola Hall rehearsal space, access to MCA equipment and materials (as available) and the continued guidance of the CWG practitioners to aid in creation of your work. With Test Drive we aim to to offset both the time and money it takes to further develop an artistic practice, so each selected participant will receive an unrestricted stipend of $300 as well.
