Maelstrom Collaborative Arts’ Crash Course is a series of artistic development workshops in the essentials of DIY live performance production. Crash Course provides a focused, hands-on introduction into lighting, sound, stagecraft, and using multimedia playback software in both traditional and non-traditional venues.

Whether you’re a dancer, musician, actor, or a multidisciplinary avantgarde noise performance art provocateur, Crash Course will help you know what to plug in, where to plug it in, and how to turn it on.

All targeted modules are taught by MCA’s Executive Artistic Director Jeremy Paul, a veteran producer and artist with over 15 years of DIY and site-specific production experience
